The individual, vehicle owner, operator, or authorized representative requesting or receiving services.
Vehicle:
Any car, truck, SUV, van, ATV, UTV, motorcycle, trailer, or equipment subject to recovery or towing.
Recovery Operation:
Any action taken to extract, stabilize, winch, tow, or move a vehicle from any location, including off-road, remote, snow, mud, ice, steep terrain, or hazardous environments.

2. Acknowledgement and Acceptance of Risk
By requesting or accepting service, you acknowledge and agree that:

Off-road recovery and towing involve inherent and unavoidable risks.

Recovery operations place significant force on vehicle components, including frames, bumpers, suspension, driveline, wheels, tires, and body panels.

Additional vehicle damage may occur during recovery, even when reasonable care is exercised.

Terrain, weather, and environmental conditions are unpredictable and beyond our control.

Recovery may involve pulling, lifting, winching, towing, or repositioning using professional judgment.
You expressly authorize Collins Off-Road Recovery to perform recovery services using methods deemed appropriate based on conditions at the time.
You accept all risks associated with recovery operations.

3. Service Authorization
By requesting service, you confirm that:

You are the legal owner of the vehicle, or authorized by the owner.

You authorize Collins Off-Road Recovery to recover, move, or transport the vehicle.

You grant permission to access the vehicle location, including private or remote property where authorized.
You agree to provide accurate information including:

Vehicle location (address, GPS coordinates, or description)

Vehicle condition
-
Terrain conditions
-
Hazards present
Failure to provide accurate information may increase risk and cost.

4. No Guarantee of Recovery​
Recovery success depends on conditions beyond our control, including:

Weather

Accessibility

Equipment limitations

Safety risks
We do not guarantee successful recovery in all situations.
We reserve the right to stop or refuse service if conditions are unsafe or likely to cause excessive damage or risk.

5. Vehicle Condition and Damage Disclaimer
You acknowledge and agree that Collins Off-Road Recovery is not responsible for:

Pre-existing damage

Hidden or structural damage

Mechanical failure before, during, or after recovery

Damage caused by terrain, snow, ice, mud, rocks, or environmental hazards

Damage resulting from necessary recovery forces

Damage caused by vehicle modifications, rust, corrosion, or weakened components
Recovery operations may involve:

Lifting or repositioning

Tire traction forces
These forces may stress vehicle components.
You accept these risks.

6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Alberta law:
